By a Letter from Albany, received since our last, we learn, that a Man was just arriv'd from the Seneca Country, where he saw several French Indians that were just come in there from Canada, with Presents, and a large Quantity of Powder and Ball, in order to distribute the same amongst all the Indians that were willing to take up the Hatchet against the English ; that two English Prisoners were lately bro't from Canada to the Seneca Country for Sale ; and that several Indians had actually set out from thence, with a Design to captivate and murder the Inhabitants of this, and the neighbouring Provinces.
