Visits Uncle George Webb,

"Uncle George" Webb, who lives alternately in Pendleton and La Grande, is the oldest living Odd Fellow in Oregon and said to be the oldest in the United States. Last week Grand Master Henry S. Westbrooke and several other Odd Fellows visited him at the home of his daughter in La Grande. He was initiated March 15, 1885, and has been continuously in good standing for over 62 years.

He was born in Maryland Sept. 4, 1824. "Uncle George" served as state treasurer for two terms.
