It was Christmas Eve, not nearly all the Chitina mail was up here yet. Because there was so much second class mail that the air planes hadn't had time to get all of it to Chitina from Cordova, as the boat got in Friday & first class came up first as usual.
So Gillam planned to surprise everybody. He brought all the packages he could carry to us on Christmas morning, & got here just in time. Everyone is glad. We sure do thank you for that Gillam, a hundred times.
