FARM BUREAU MEETS

Meeting of Community Unit Was Held at Fomby School House.

Ashdown, Route 1. Feb. 4.-(Special) Members of the Farm Bureau met with District No. 26 the third, with George Hatcher as chairman. The house was called to order and Mr. Newsom made a talk on community organization and the raising of cotton. H. P. Haizlip talked on farmers union and the farm bureau. Mr. Johnston talked on growing sweet potatoes and the marketing of them. Mr. Haizlip explained the necessity of using certified potato seed.

A motion was made and carried to send a telegram to Little Rock for the benefit of the farmers-Enabling Act. The meeting adjourned to meet again the third Thursday in Feb.
