--The purport of which are, that Mr. Charles use his utmost diligence to obtain the prayer thereof : and to call to his assistance such council, learned in the law, as the weight and importance of the matters in them contained, require.
The principal subjects of these representations and petitions, are, that of the Sugar Act ;--of the Act restraining Paper Bills of credit --and of the several other Acts of Parliament lately passed relating to the trade of the northern colonies.
