The following is from The Monroe Enquirer:

Thos. D. Lee, of Claibourn Parish, La., was a Monroe visitor today, being accompanied by his friend, A. F. Funderburk, of Pageland, S. C. Mr. Lee, who is a son of the late James Henry Lee, who with his family left for Louisiana 57 years ago, going from Chesterfield county. Mr. Lee has not visited this section since leaving, he being seven years old at the time. The only person Mr. Lee remembers is Aaron Funderburk, who was only four years old, and was his little playmate.

Mr. Lee's grandfather was Needham Lee, and his mother was Ann Mangum, a daughter of Fletcher Mangum.

Mr. Lee is a prosperous farmer and owner of oil property.

Mr. Funderburk informs us that there is a mistake as to Mr. Lee's memory. He says: Mr. Lee has a remarkable recollection, remembering many people by name who were in the neighborhood at his time.

Mr. Lee is now here visiting among friends and relatives.
