The members of the Eastern Morgan County Livestock club composed of seven boys from Bristol and Manchester townships, and their leader H. G. Henderson, gave a party for the Progressive Girls' Food and Clothing club members, their parents and friends, at the home of the leader, Saturday evening. About 75 attended the meeting and were entertained with games, races, stunts and weiner and marshmallow roast. Each of the boys in the club furnished a pound of weiners and the leader provided the other necessary equipment.
After the weiner roast the leader assembled the party on the lawn and introduced the club members to those present, after which County Agent Helt gave a short talk concerning the club program in the state and county for the year 1923. The party closed with a pass ball relay race between the livestock club boys and the club girls, the boys winning. A race was then organized between the men and women, the men winning by a good margin.
