TWO MEN IN JAIL FOR CRIME AT POLSON

Williard B. Hill, against whom a charge of burglary is still pending in the district court, and Dave Pronovost, were Tuesday brought to the city and lodged in jail on warrants sworn to by Probation Officer J. K. Lang, charging both men with assault on Mildred Hill, aged 13 years, a daughter of W. B. Hill. The girl was taken to the home of the Good Shepherd at Helena last week. Her tale as voluntarily told to officers and sworn to at Helena recites a list of black crimes of which she has been the victim, extending over a period of five years. Hill is a carpenter and has lived along with his little daughter at Polson. His present wife is said to be living in Michigan and officers are seeking her.
