LIVENGOOD.—Too much praise cannot be given Frank Nash, superintendent in the Fairbanks division for the Road Commission, and Clarence E. Burglin, junior engineer, and in fact all the road commission crew for the way they rushed the Fairbanks-Livengood road through, says the News-Miner of Fairbanks. Livengood being one of the best mining camps in Alaska, this road means a lot to the miner and operator as they can get their supplies in at a reasonable rate. It will also mean new business for Fairbanks. At present there is lots of activity in the Livengood camp, and a number of drift miners are taking out pay dirt.

Clifford Smith, who has a large amount of Livengood mining property under option, is lining up for a big dredging company, in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Smith are expected to return to Fairbanks soon. They drove their car over the new road from Fairbanks to this camp.

Quite a number of automobiles are being driven over the new road.

Maxie Miller is freighting into the Tolovana.
