PROMOTERS JAILED FOR NEVADA FRAUD

Dispatches from New York state that two of the five men who promoted the Cuprite-Esmeralda Sulphur company, and who were indicted by a federal grand jury for misuse of the mails, have been convicted and sentenced to 15 months in the Atlanta penitentiary. The men convicted are John J. Olsen and E Z Parker, who operated a brokerage firm under the name of J. J Olsen & Co.

The convicted men appealed and were released under bond. The three others indicted were Arthur P Theo, Nicholas P Theo and Robert M Carlton, according to the New York report, which says that officials of the Cuprite Sulphur corporation have also been indicted.
