Rev. Doctor and worthy Friend,
I thank your prayers for the speedy passage of the Bonny Lass, Capt. M'Fadden. The 24th day after I had seen you, I landed in the West, where I left the vessel, which got to Cork two days after. The Captain behaved uncommonly well, and I assure you I have been but at few parties of pleasure that I have enjoyed myself as much as on the entire of the passage, it being our greatest study to make each other happy. Not a contradiction, good provisions, favorable winds, and a good vessel.
