LARGE NUMBER ATTEND RACES

THURSDAY THE LARGEST DAY IN THE HISTORY OF DAVIS COUNTY FAIR.

Bloomfield, Sept. 1a.--(Special)--The Davis County fair just closed, has been one of the most successful held in the history of the association. The gate receipts for the three days total over $2,000. Thursday was the largest day in point of attendance, and it is estimated that 10,000 were at the races. There will be a surplus of from $200 to $400 after the expenses have been paid, although there has been an unusually large number of exhibits and the premium list will be heavy.

The gate receipts for the three days are as follows:
