Mothers and Their Children.

Ear Training.

One Mother Says:

My three children and I have a game we call the "Dark Woods."

When we are on our daily stroll in the park we all sit quietly for a minute, each with his eyes shut. Then in turn we tell what we have heard and often we all have a different story to tell.

This develops ear training, which is often sadly neglected in a child's schooling.

There are many ways in which you can help the children with their school studies and arouse their interest in them. A chapter is devoted to this subject in the booklet, 100 Ideas for Mothers, which you can secure for 12c in stamps from The Milwaukee Leader Mothers' Bureau, Room 930, 440 South Dearborn St., Chicago, Ill.
