MEMBER OF MUNICIPAL SECURITIES ASSOCIATION PLANS TO MAKE DETAILED REPORT ON SITUATION
Shutts & Bowen law offices at Miami have sent Mr. Sheldrick of the Municipal Securities Association of Jacksonville to Key West, who arrived Wednesday, for the purpose of making a thorough investigation of the bond situation in this city.
He comes here at the instigation of the law firm for the purpose of going thoroughly into all matters preliminary to the compilation of a detailed report and analysis of the city's condition.
This data, it is shown, will be of value not only to the city officials of Key West, but also the bondholders, and being gotten up for the purpose of trying to arrive at an intelligent manner of handling the Key West bond situation.
Mr. Sheldrick addressed the council at a regular meeting last night explaining his mission to Key West, and stated that he desired to cooperate with the council and all other officials in connection with compiling the necessary data which will be used in an effort to remedy the bond situation as much as possible.
