PROVIDENCE, September 22.

At a Town Council, specially holden in and for the town of Providence, on Wednesday, the 20th of September, 1797.

STATE OF THE FEVER IN PROVIDENCE.

From Friday, the 12th inst. seven persons have deceased, and eleven remain sick.

STATE OF THE FEVER.

Thirteen persons are now confined with the Yellow Fever, four have been removed to the hospital:-And since the report made on Wednesday the 20th inst. three persons only have deceased.

DIED. In this town, Mr. Gideon Hull, Mr. Samuel Pitcher, Mr. Robert Blinn, Mr. Wilcox, Mrs. Gifford, (widow of the late Mr. Josiah Gifford) three of her children, and a young woman who lived in the family; Dr. Ephraim Comstock.
