The General Election of Electors of President and Vice-President of the United States throughout this Commonwealth took place on Monday last. Several weeks must elapse before the returns can be received in this city. We hazard little however in saying, great as has been the clamor against the War by the Tories, that nine-tenths of the votes will be for the Madison and Gerry Ticket.
