With thanks for his fruit and sweet flow'r:
And she hopes e'er 'tis long the kind donor to see,
To return him the best in her pow'r.
The charming CARNATION she fondly admires,
Rebus.
The Apricot, Nonpareil too I. 2.
The Peach, with the Gooseberry and Currants require 3. 4. 5.
Her thanks to the youth whom they're due.
The Strawberry and Cherry, the kindly accepts, 6. 7.
