WILMINGTON, June 14.

COMMUNICATED.

The elegant steam boat Eagle, captain Rogers arrived here this day on her way round to Baltimore, from whence she is intended to ply to Elkton, and with a line of land stages from thence to Wilmington, and with the steam boat Vesta from Wilmington to Philadelphia, form a new line of communication between Baltimore and the latter city. The Eagle left Philadelphia this morning and arrived at the wharf in this borough at half past 1, and performing her passage, a distance of 40 miles, in three and a half hours. We congratulate the public upon the very great accommodation which will be offered to travellers between Philadelphia and Baltimore by this elegant boat, which is furnished and equipped in the most convenient and superior style.
