ANGELICA, N. Y. Jan. 16, 1859.

G. W. Brown.--Dear Sir:--I am an old man of seventy-five years, and have an abundance of reading, yet I cannot dispense with the reading of your invaluable paper, until I see your young and thriving Territory fairly admitted into the great family of States, free from the curse and blight of Slavery. I have always been a Democrat, full and true until the Administration ran off the track and corrupted herself beyond a hope of recovery.

Enclosed is two dollars for the Herald of Freedom another year.
