The Washington State Law Against Discrimination in Employment
What It Means to You

will be the theme of a public meeting sponsored by the Urban League.

It was announced by the Rt. Rev. Stephen F. Bayne, Jr., president.

Speakers and their topics will be:

Ed Van Valkenburg, Executive Director of the Washington State Committee Against Discrimination in Employment, "How the People Can Make the Law Work";

Harry Grill, Counselor of Vocational Services, Jewish Family and Child Service, "How the New York Law Works";

and Horace Woodland, Industrial Secretary, Seattle Urban League, "Fitness for Tomorrow's Jobs".

Dr. F. B. Cooper will be the chairman.

The meeting climaxes the Vocational Opportunity Campaign. It will be held in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1634 19th Avenue, at 8 p.m., Sunday, March 27.

Joining the Urban League as sponsors are the Stella Puella Club, the Cosmopolitan Community Civic Club, the Cosmopolitan Century Club, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
