By United Press Leased Wire

LONDON, Dec. 1.—An official bulletin issued at Buckingham Palace today, at 11 a. m., said:

"In spite of His Majesty's having passed a fair night there has been a slight rise in temperature since yesterday. His general condition remains unchanged."

(Signed) STANLEY HEWETT,
"Dawson of Penn."

A crisis may be reached today or tomorrow in the King's illness, some British physicians thought today. Writing in the morning papers, medical authorities analyzed the latest bulletins and many were of the opinion that if the King survived the crisis it would be impossible for him to recover his full health immediately.

LONDON, Dec. 1. — The King's fever increased today, and public anxiety, which had been somewhat allayed by optimistic reports of the last two days was aroused again.

The Duke and Duchess of York, who had planned to spend the week end with the Duke and Duchess of Rutland at Belvoir Castle, at Leicestershire, postponed the trip because of the King's illness.

The Prince of Wales will start home from Africa aboard the British cruiser Enterprise at about 11 tomorrow. He may reach London in about 10 days.

Latest news of the Prince was contained in a dispatch to the Evening News from Sir Perceval Phillips, its correspondent, from Dar es Salaam.

The Prince stayed 12 hours at Zanzibar and his visit was entirely informal, "Sir Perceval cabled.
