KANSAS
CITY
Mo., Nov. 5.

Plans for placing a gigantic bell near the Liberty Memorial here by which President Coolidge will call the nation to a thirty second period of silence in honor of the soldier dead at 11 o'clock, November 11, were announced by the executive committee of the Memorial Association.

At the close of the silence period buglers will sound "taps."

which the President will begin his dedication address at the memorial.

President Coolidge has accepted an invitation to attend the dedication of the memorial. He will begin to speak shortly after 11 o'clock.
