Accidentalmente pude observar una reunión de los Demócratas de Frederiksted. Al asomarse al salón donde se celebraba dicha reunión fuimos cordialmente invitados a entrar por los señores Gustave James y Alexander Moorhead. Gracias.
Había dos senadores presentes en la reunión, uno de ellos, atacó rudamente al Partido de la Unidad aunque no mencionó su nombre también atacó al Partido de las Islas Vírgenes. Pero eso es política.
Con lo único que no estamos de acuerdo, ni lo estaremos nunca, es con los ataques personales.
Amigos políticos discutimos ideas, no personas.
Unámonos todos para luchar por el futuro bienestar de estas Islas Vírgenes que tanto lo necesitan.
Se ataca a los puertorriqueños porque han organizado su propio partido. Los puertorriqueños NO han organizado su propio partido.
El nombre de dicho partido lo dice claramente, "The Virgin Islands Party", y es para todo aquel que quiera ingresar en él, después que cualifique.
Johnny dice que la política en las Islas Vírgenes es puramente local, que solamente se lucha por la elección de los once escaños de nuestra Legislatura y que después el rolo para los que caen en la rueda de abajo.
OTRA REUNION
También tuvo su reunión el Partido de las Islas Vírgenes, bajo la Presidencia del señor Diaz Duchesne. Se discutió el asunto de las inscripciones, además de que el partido no tiene conexiones, ni alianzas con ningún otro partido. El asunto de los candidatos se dejó para una próxima reunión.

Una mirada altiva y arrogante y un ceño cruel de corazón molesto.
Estuve un rato nervioso, luego me calmé.

Invitation to all. Let us go to the November elections with our hearts clean. Let us make this coming election without personal attacks. Let us discuss ideas, not persons.
Have in mind that everybody has a different head to think differently, not in the way you would like. Nobody is obliged to think like the other.
Treat your opponent in the manner you like to be treated.
Do not plant winds because you will collect hurricanes. Try to bring friends to the cause you are defending without creating enemies.
Y HASTA AQUI AMIGOS MI COLUMNA DE HOY. HASTA LA VISTA.
