Cement Mixer Row Aired In Court
Raymond Geckle, 34, who lives west of Ottawa, owns a cement mixer but today it had "mixed" into trouble.
The story unfolded in a local magistrate's court after Mrs. Philemena Hohenbrink, of near Miller City, filed a charge of pointing and aiming a loaded firearm, against Geckle.
Geckle told the court he went to the Hohenbrink farm to get the cement mixer which he recently loaned the family, but they refused to permit him to move the machine, which was padlocked. Leaving the farm, Geckle later returned with a shotgun and pointed it at members of the family, the complainant testified.
