NEW DATE IS SET FOR CORBETT-BRITT BATTLE
SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., Feb. 21.—Owing to the fact that March 31, the date originally set for the big championship battle between Jimmy Britt and Young Corbett, falls during Holy Week, the managers of the Hayes Valley Club have decided to bring off the contest on Friday, March 25. Britt will have to commence serious training for the contest a week sooner than he expected. He will probably take up his routine training grind at Croll's Gardens at the beginning of next week.
