Mr. Tyler Summoned as a Witness.—We find the following curious statement in the Court report of the New York Courier and Enquirer:—

Superior Court, at Chambers.—Before a full Bench.—A commission was granted on Saturday, to Mr. Wyckoff, formerly proprietor of the "Republic," to examine Mr. Tyler, the Acting President of the United States, touching the bargain between himself and Mr. Duff Green, with reference to the support to be given by that paper to his administration (?) Mr. Green, who was the first editor, had agreed with Mr. Wyckoff to support the Loco Foco party, but was bought up by Mr. Tyler, and for the damage thus sustained, Mr. Wyckoff brought an action, on the trial of which this testimony is to be used.
