Mrs. Angelinre Michaud of Milton Street suffered a fracture of the collarbone Sunday afternoon when a front tire on the car in which she was riding blew out, causing the auto to hit a truck, strike a wall and overturn. The accident occurred on the Webster-Thompson state highway near the state line.
Webster police said that Mrs. Michaud was riding in an auto driven by Mrs. Delia Peters of 31 Grove Street, this city. The Peters car was passing a truck, traveling in the opposite direction and driven by Harold J. Corttis of Oxford, Mass., when the accident occurred.
The injured woman was taken to the Webster District Hospital for treatment and later allowed to return to her home here. Mrs. Peters escaped injury in the accident.
