There are now three candidates in the race for mayor of Fort Mill, J. L. Lyles, J. T. Young, Jr., and George W. McKenzie, with the possibility of one or more other entrants before the time for entering the primary comes to a close on November 21. M. J. Adcock is thus far the only candidate for the board of aldermen, so far as The Times is informed. All three candidates for mayor were elected to town council two years ago, but Mr. McKenzie is not now a member of the body, having resigned some months ago.
