The Custom House.—The reform in the Custom House, (says the Courier) we understand, begun yesterday morning. Mr. [a received his commission as Collector mail of Sunday evening, and General [e, by the same, received notice to clear -we are not learned whether Mr. Hen- [tt sporrdmpen she lioohocire afioof ficial duties; but it was stated that Mr. Adams Bailey has been regularly placed in the chair of the Deputy Collector, in place of Mr. John Wheelwright, removed. It is presumed that there will be a pretty general removal of the subordinate officers connected with the collection district.
