Elections.
PENNSYLVANIA.
We have returns from all the counties but three, (Erie, Venango, and Warren) which give the Jackson ticket a majority of 24,144. The Clay Masons would not vote generally for the Anti-Masonic ticket; and many of the Anti-Masons, fearful that the vote would be given to Mr. Clay, if their ticket should be successful, voted the Jackson ticket. Thus have the two parties, like dogs, quarrelled about the bones, until a third party ran away with the "spoils."

OHIO.
Returns from 43 counties, give the Jackson ticket a majority of nearly 6000. Twenty-two counties to hear from.

NEW JERSEY
It is believed this State has also gone for Jackson, in consequence of the folly of the Anti-Masons in running a separate ticket.

NEW YORK.
The returns from this State are imperfect, but enough is known to prove that the Jackson and Van Buren ticket will succeed by a large majority.

MAINE.
The returns from 41 towns, give the Jackson ticket about 2000 majority.

NEW HAMPSHIRE.
Sixty-six towns give 9272 votes for the Jackson electors, and 8176 for the Anti-Jackson.

CONNECTICUT.
Returns from 105 towns, give for the Clay ticket 15,296, Jackson do. 9253, Anti-Masonic 2903.

KENTUCKY.
No returns, except from the City of Louisville, which gave the Clay ticket a majority of 375 at the close of the first day.

From the New York Com. Adv. of Saturday.
New York Election.—Returns, more or less complete, have come in from the West as far as Otsego and Oneida, Inclusive, and from the North to Clinton county. Inclusive. Every county, thus far, from Suffolk to Oneida and Lake Champlain, with a single exception, has joined in the "hurrah for Jackson" and the Albany Regency. Washington county alone, has thought of the constitution in this struggle, which has proved so fatal to the stability of our republican institutions, and the preservation of "a sound and well-regulated Freedom." That county has proved itself worthy of the name it bears, by giving the constitutional party 1600 majority. The welkin rings with the shouts of the victors. But the day is not far distant when these shouts will "be followed by the groans of those who utter them. They will then learn, in their sorrow, the difference between a wild and frenzied Democracy, and that sedate and well-tempered and balanced Republicanism, upon which our ancestors supposed they were building the political institutions for those who were to come after them.

New Jersey, too! after doing well so recently, has suffered the Philistines to shear off her locks when sleeping during a rainy day. In one word, she has now gone for Jackson.
