Nab Negro Fleeing From Still Plant

Wilbert Marow, negro is charged with manufacturing non tax paid whiskey and with possessing copper knowing it to be stolen. ABC Officer J. Champion said today Marow was captured this morning around 10 o'clock at a still site in Dabney township where Champion and his fellow officers L.A. Jackson, and J.D. Peck raided in on the still running full blast. One man made his getaway, but Marow was captured by Champion after a chase through a dense thicket. The officers found two and a half gallons of whiskey and about 400 gallons of beer. Copper found there was identified as some stolen from the Corbitt Motor Truck Co. just west of the city. Marow was jailed awaiting a hearing.
