Full Text

Hon. Willie P. Mangum. - We regret to learn from his physician, that Judge Mangum is still seriously indisposed at his residence on Flat River. His disease affecting his lungs, entirely precludes the idea of his attending the Mass Meetings in the different parts of the state, as he was extremely anxious to do, and will probably prevent him from speaking in public for a month to come. We hope, however, he will be sufficiently recovered to attend the Alamance Mass Meeting on the 9th and 10th of October, even if it should not be advisable for him to speak on the occasion.
