Full Text

Ladies' Library Association.

This society gave a supper at the court house on Tuesday evening of this week, for the purpose of raising means to increase the number of books in their library, and render it more attractive and useful. The supper was both excellent and abundant, but the turn out, though quite respectable, was not so large as might reasonably have been expected for so worthy an object. It is hoped that the citizens of Greenville will extend aid and encouragement to this useful institution.
