The staff immediately going in the Statira frigate is as follows: The Hon. Sir Edward Pakenham K. B. commander of the Force. Maj. Gen. Gibbs, 2d in command. Col. Dickson, Adjt. Gen. Col. Bayly, Quarter master Gen. Moody. Asst. Commissary Gen. Deet, Robb. Insp. of hospitals Col. Bradford, Military Secretary. Sir Pakenham is brother-in-law to the Duke of Wellington, and was his Adj. Gen. in [illegible] and Gen. Gibbs are officers of the greatest talents. Maj. Gen. Grant goes out by land to take command of the cavalry & other General officers will go out with the troops as soon as they can be collected.
