FARM FOR SALE.
The subscriber offers for sale his farm situated five miles from Boscobel, on the road leading from Boscobel to Mineral Point,
CONTAINING 240 ACRES,
10 acres of which are under fence and most of it in cultivation, the balance good Timber.
The improvements consist of a large Frame House with seven rooms, good cellar, and a cistern holding 100 barrels, and plenty of stock water near, good Granary, Corn Crib and Stables. There is also on the place, an ORCHARD of 250 trees, over 100 of which were set out ten years ago, and had 100 bushels of Apples last year, also plenty of small fruit such as Tame and Wild Plums, Currants, Gooseberries, Siberian Crabs, Grape vines, and everything to make a family comfortable. The above farm will be sold at a bargain, as poor health is the cause of my selling. For price and particulars inquire of the subscriber on the premises.

Mr. W. N. REED proposes to sell his splendid place all within the corporate limits of this village, and move South. After years of care and patience, he now has one of the finest orchards in the country—300 apple trees, nearly all bearing; the most of them grafts of the hardiest kinds, besides a large nursery, a small vineyard of choice grape vines, and other fruit. His commodious house is within five minutes walk of the new graded school building, and about the same distance from the "Lancaster Institute." These educational advantages together with the new court house and monument have made Lancaster one of the most attractive residences in the West, and yet Mr. Reed is determined to go South! He will sell the whole place, containing 13 acres, 3 improved, including orchard, house, and running water for pasturage, for $50 per acre, with crops, stock, and farming implements in the bargain. STRAY MARE TAKEN UP!
The subscriber, residing five miles north of Lancaster, took up on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1867. a black mare, about four years old, branded with the letters "W H" on left shoulder, and also on right hip. The owner is requested to come, prove property, pay charges, and take said stray away.

TAKEN UP—STRAY STEERS.
Taken up by the subscriber on lands owned by her, in the town of Bloomington. about the 6th of September, 1867, two steers, one four years old, line back, spotted sides, flanks speckled, head speckled, slit in right ear. STRAY BULL.
On the 15th of September came into the enclosure of the subscriber. on the farm now occupied by John Bennett,in Fennimore, a black and white bull. supposed to be five or six years old, medium size, lopped horn head and neck all black; white and black on the body.
