Ulysses Howard of Mendes spent last weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Murant and family.

Miss Esther Lou Moore was the weekend visitor of her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Sammie Moore.

Mrs. Nancy L. Williams and little Misetta of Glennville were the weekend guests of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Murant.

Mr. and Mrs. Prince Cox, Mrs. L. W. Cox, Mrs. Ruth Williams made a business trip to Glennville last weekend.

Mrs. Daisy Simmons and family, Curtis Smith, Mrs. Ida Mae Williams of Claxton spent last weekend with her sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Cox.

Mrs. Annie Ross was the Saturday guest of Mrs. Alice Murant.

Mrs. Annie Simmons and son Willie Jones spent last weekend in Glennville Saturday.

Clem Nelson was the Saturday guest of J. H. Murant.

J. B. Boyd of Hinesville spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Boyd.

Dan Smith is still on the sick list.

Mrs. Ed Ziegler of Savannah is visiting her mother, Mrs. M. Murrell, who is still on the sick list.

J. H. Murant made a business trip to Glennville last Monday.

Mrs. Annie Simmons and children have returned to Dade City, Fla., after spending three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Murant.

Mrs. Doll Johnson of Glennville was called to the bedside of her mother, Mrs. Eunice Deakle in Belle Glade, Fla. En route to Florida she spent the night with Mr. and Mrs. Sammie Moore.

Mrs. Willie Hagen and Mrs. Mary Jane Johnson were the Friday guests of the Murant family.

Fisher Slater of Walthourville and son, Sgt. Sam Slater of Ft. Knox, Ky., were the Monday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Murant and family.

Misses Calen Boyd, Odessa Wright and Ernestine Wright were the Sunday guests of Miss Dee Ola Jones.

Mrs. Beatrice Richardson was the Sunday guest of Mrs. McClary Moore.

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Murant announce the marriage of their daughter, McClary Murant to Sammie Moore, Jr.

Dee Hardee was the Sunday guest of Willie D. Jones.

Elit Boyd made a pop call Sunday to see the Murant family.

Clinton Boyd of Ludowici spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Boyd.

Mr. and Mrs. Foster Berry were visitors in Glennville on Saturday.

George Washington was the Sunday guest of Mrs. Lula Smiley.

Mrs. Mary Nelson was the guest Thursday of Mrs. Alice Murant.

James Lewis left Wednesday for the army at Ft. Benning.
