Full Text

Although the debates in the House of Lords were very interesting on Wednesday last, several of the auditors could not help observing the ghastly hue that overspread the countenance of Mr. Hutchinson, the late Boston Governor, when Lord Camden mentioned "Hutchinson's justices," and how highly the gubernatorial countenance was elated with joy and pleasure when his two noble advocates (Townshend and Hillsborough) so spiritedly retailed the warlike sentiments he had inspired them with against his poor countrymen.

The American, a portrait of whom appears in the print shops, tarred and feathered, was at the House of Lords during the last debate, and seems marked with almost as strong lines and features as Governor Hutchinson. An eminent portrait painter, whose curiosity led him to hear the debates, has taken inimitable profiles of the two Gentlemen, but not for the print shops.
