The same Day his Grace the Duke of Dorset, who received the White Staff on Thursday last, as Lord Steward of his Majesty's Household, in the room of his Grace the Duke of Devonshire, now Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, went to Hampton-Court, viewed the Alterations made there, and ordered the Keeper to get the Palace in Readiness by the Middle of May next, for the Reception of their Majesties: His Grace ordered likewise Wines and other Necessaries to be stored therein for the Use of the Royal Family.
