Legislature Drawing To A Close.
The Legislature can be said to be entering on its last lap. The time for introducing bills into the House expired today at noon and in the Senate none can be introduced after ten days before the close of the session. Any measure to get a hearing after the Senate's closing time must have the unanimous consent of both houses. So shortly it will simply be a question of what gets through.
Of course the greatest concern to Laramie is what happens to the University. It is too early yet to tell what the outcome will be, but a very short time should give rather definite indications as to what may be expected.
In this connection a word of praise should be said with regard to Albany County's delegation. It has given a fine account of itself. All four of our men have been on the job, and have been working hard not only for the County's interests, but with a larger view as to the whole state's welfare.
