Full Text
The Right Man.
The selection of Senator John F. Miller as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations is not only a compliment to California, but places him in a most useful position towards this state. To the Committee of Foreign Relations will probably be referred matters touching the evasion of the Restriction law by the Chinese, and our Senator will not be slow in bringing the subject to the attention of the committee and shaping legislation to cure the evil. The chairmanship is just the place for Senator Miller, and he is just the man for the place.—S. F. Post.
