It Looked Like She Didn't Go There To Talk
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (P)—A striking brunette walked out of the night club wearing nothing but lipstick and rouge.
She wanted to talk politics.
But the befuddled service station attendant could hardly find words. Shifting nervously, they strove for nonchalance as she strolled about the brightly lighted gas pumps last night.
Then came the cops, on the double, bearing a blanket.
She haughtily declined a suggestion that she direct them to her home so she could pick up some clothing on the way to jail.
"I got nothing to hide," she said coldly.
Booked as Mrs. Lucille Whitaker, 41, she was charged with disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
