St. James's Sept. 8. Her most Serene Highness the Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg, having embarked on board his Majesty's Yacht at Stade, the 22d past, and fallen down the Elbe at Cuxhaven, sailed from thence the 28th, and arrived in the Port of Harwich, on Sunday Evening last the 6th Instant. Her Highness continued that Night, and dined Yesterday on board: After which she set out from Harwich, and lay last Night at the Earl of Abercorn's House at Waltham in Essex: from whence her Highness set out this Morning at Eight, and arrived at a Quarter past Three, at his Majesty's Palace of St. James's, where She alighted at the Garden Gate, and was received by the King, and all the Royal Family. At Nine this Evening the Marriage Ceremony, between his Majesty and her most Serene Highness, will be solemnized by the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, in the Royal Chapel there.
On the Arrival of her Serene Highness Charlotte, Princess of Mecklenburg, our intended Queen.

THOU radiant Star, thou long wished for Phænomenon, all hail! The brightest Vestal of the Empire, all hail!... She comes to fill the longing Arms of Britain's King, to raise the increasing Blessings on this happy Land, and with her princely Virtue to make our glorious Throne divinely beautiful. O how peculiar is the Care of Providence in bestowing such Perfection on a British Monarch, whose Delight is Goodness!... Hail thou bright Excellence to the Royal Mansion, Hope attends there eagerly to receive thee, and Charity Sits joyous at the Entrance: Hymen waits prepared with his bright flaming Torch, to guard and conduct thee to the Holy Altar, there to deliver up thy Virgin Blushes to youthful Majesty, to Great Britain's King, the Protector and Rewarder of Virtues. Methinks I see the withered Olive raising its bruised Head, emulous of joining with a Laurel in wearing the Crown to ornament thy chaste Brow when sacred Wedlock makes thee GEORGE's Queen... May the Sun display his brightest Rays upon the important Hour.

"May the auspicious Day be very sacred,
"No Mourning, no Misfortune happen on it;
"May it be mark'd for Triumphs and Rejoicings.
