It is midnight.
My readers must excuse me as I must rush to
ALEX HARVEY'S BARBER SHOP
to let one of those good barbers
cut my hair and shave me: and I
will treat myself to one of the
BATHS in his shop. What you
say? I need it? Well. HARVEY'S
place is the place to get fixed up
in the tonsorial line.

By the way, the mysterious lady
who will accompany me
to
Bethel Church today will have din-
ner with me, and I have had fried
chicken prepared for her from R.
L. WARREN'S who sells nothing
but good poultry at 195 Edgewood
and 20 Ashby St. She must have
the best.

Tonight I am going to dine that
mysterious lady at the JAMES
HOTEL,
the finest hotel in the
country,
and give her some
of
Mr. James' hospitality. But she has
got to have breakfast, so I'll treat
her to that fried chicken that the
ECONOMY DELICATESSEN offers
its patrons. I am going to show
her the service I have gotten while
we have been separated. Mr. Nace
has nearly as good cooking as she
used to cook for me.
