Full Text
PRESIDENT HARRISON did not enjoy his accustomed Sunday rest yesterday. 'Tis true he attended church in the morning at Glenwood Springs, Colorado, but he dispensed second-term taffy at a public mass meeting afterwards, and received many delegations during the day. Perhaps it is because the denizens of the Rocky mountains are so very wild and woolly, that the prurient president indulged in such frivolity on the holy Sabbath day; at the same time satisfying his conscience with the proverb: When you are at Rome, do as the Romans do.
