PARIS, July 28. Monday last their Majesties, Monsieur, Madame, and Monsieur the Count D'Artois, went to St. Denis, to visit Madame Louise, and afterwards stopped at the Muette with the Mesdames Clotilde and Elizabeth. Their Majesties passed by Paris. Whilst the Carriage stopped on the Bulwark, a Person meanly dressed approached the Door, and had the Honour to speak to his Majesty for some Minutes, after which he withdrew. The King then took all the Money he had in his Pocket, desiring the Queen also to give him all she had, as well as the Princes and Princesses who were with him, and sent the Whole to the Stranger, who stood at a little Distance, and is supposed to have been some ancient military Man in very indigent Circumstances. All the Spectators were affected at this Act of Humanity, and rent the Air with their Shouts of Vive le Roy! Vive la Reine! Vivent les Princes & les Princesses!
