FARMER LOSES ALL HIS BUILDINGS BY BIG FIRE

Fire broke out in the milk house on the Link Drew farm five miles south west of Glencoe at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and although a desperate attempt was made to check its course, the barn, machine shed, chicken house, milk house and wood pile burned to the ground.

The farm is being occupied by Victor LeMere and his call for aid brought the Glencoe Fire Department and many neighbors to the scene. The fire got under way so rapidly that it was made difficult to even save the bulk of the personal property housed in the buildings.

Attention was then turned by the Fire Department and neighbors to the house and it required their supreme effort to save it from destruction.
