Lost Limbs Held As Replaceable By Real Ones
EDITOR'S NOTE: (The following was written to the Santa for Servicemen Fund conducted by a local daily in 1945 by Andrew F. Fruchauf, C. S., modern Christian Science crusader, in attempting to inject new hope into the thousands who were injured and had suffered loss of limbs.)
Gentlemen:
It is a pleasure to enclose a check for $100.00 for this Servicemen Fund. (Christ Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men that they may behold your good works, and glorify your (heavenly) Father...")
The check for $100.00 made out to the Christian Science Reading Room is intended to reach those men who are receptive on approaching receptivity to our literature which, scientifically and demonstrably reveals God, and exposes the works of the devil with a thoroughness, insight, and comprehensibility never before possible of understanding by the masses.
It seems in order at this time to again refer to the prophecy of God's Christ Science the "Second Coming of Christ," (Truth)-the Messiah of All Peoples!!!
THE PROPHECY: Mary Baker Eddy, two generations ago, prophesied in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," that the time would come when LOST ARMS AND LEGS WOULD BE REPLACED, not by artificial ones, but BY REAL ONES GROWING ON THE BODY TO REPLACE THE LOST MEMBERS!!!
Just as in the case of the lost claw of the lobster-another naturally grows on!
But the Protestant, Catholic or Jew will have to become an honest to God Christian Scientist, and I don't mean maybe!!!
These European systems, Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Greek Christian and Materia Medica-- all are prisoners of the devil, materialism, animal magnetism, sex, the mortal, carnal, human mind!
The Apostle Paul said, "The things seen are temporal; the things not seen are eternal." and Jesus defined God as "Spirit" and the Old Testament again and again declares, "The Lord is God; there is none else besides him."
These Scriptures coincide with the insight of some of the Greek Philosophers who declared "matter" a mental phenomenon!
And God's Christ Science declares and demonstrates the allness of "Our Father-Mother God, allharmonious" (Science and Health)revealed in His Christ Science as infinite, omnipotent. Mind, Spirit, Soul, spiritual Life. Truth, Love. infinite divine Principle; matter, therefore, being demonstrably unreal, merely a mortally mental image existing only in the Devilish Adam and Eve Dream!!!
The real individuality of every human being, whether "normal" or a seeming "cripple" to physical sense, is God's perfect, eternal, spiritual idea his very image and likeness!!!
Man, woman and child are now and eternally a consciousness, living not in or of the body, but rather the body lives in us, in consciousness; so does the earth, sun, moon and stars. all space and creation. the entire universe!!!
ALL space and creation-the entire universe is in us in consciousness, not outside of us!!!
The image and likeness of God is not a well behaving human animal: the image and likeness of God is a wholly. spiritual consciousness taking in all space, the entire universe. as does "our Father-Mother God" - (Science and Health).
St. Paul said In God we live, and move, and have our being."
The foregoing revelation, therefore, declares and demonstrates the proposition that we "live and move, and have our being in God"in heaven and in eternal life NOw!!! Because they fill all space!
Jesus said "the kingdom of heaven cometh not with observation . ." "The kingdom of heaven is at hand; it is within you."
And Christ and Christian Science reveal that eternal life is realized and demonstrated here and now through a spiritual understanding of God!
