July 22. An express arrived yesterday from the Hague, with an account of the particulars of the late action with the French, whereby it appears that our loss amounts to 1000 men killed and wounded, and about 18 pieces of cannon.

General Honeywood was present at the last encounter with the French; he escaped unhurt, but his Aid de Camp was dangerously wounded in the neck.

Yesterday orders were given to the regiment commanded by the Hon. Col. Bowden, and six others, to hold themselves in readiness on 48 hours notice to embark for Germany.
