BALTIMORE, February 18.

FIRE

Was yesterday morning, about sunrise, discovered bursting from the cabin of the ship Mohawk, of Philadelphia, lying at Baker wharf, Fell's Point. The fire originated from the stove, which being placed in the ceiling, it is supposed a spark communicated to the wainscot panels. Happily it gained no considerable height before it was discovered and extinguished, had the fire but touched the rigging of the vessel, a dreadful conflagration must have been the consequence, for the Mohawk is surrounded by a great number of vessels, all of which are ice-bound.
