Did Not Know How She Spent Money Jurors Attended Ball Game And Will Take an Auto Ride.
Chicago, July 8--With testimony completed in the trial of Evelyn Arthur See, the jurors by way of fortifications against the verbal onslaught of counsel on Monday attended a ball game this afternoon and tomorrow will be taken about the city in automobiles.
Steven Bridges said today that his wife whom he is suing for divorce gave See an average of $250 a month part of it for his own personal use.
"I provided liberally for her and did not know how she spent the money" said Mr. Bridges, "She even bought him a horse and buggy. I think I am safe in saying that various women have contributed a total of $25,000 to See's life. The names of most of these women have not come out in the trial."
